Tommy Latousek, director of Joshua & Co.'s ranch division, comes to the Aspen-based firm from Mirr Ranch Group, where he was also a ranch broker specialist. Tommy is one of the few ranch brokers in the West with land trust experience, having negotiated dozens of conservation easements as a project manager with Mesa Land Trust, the nation’s oldest agricultural land trust. Prior to that, Tommy worked on Colorado River Basin habitat conservation projects for the national river group, American Rivers, and was a doctoral fellow in American western/environmental history. Tommy also has an MBA from University of Denver. Over the years Tommy has been immersed in all of the things related to large acreage, rural, western ranch properties - water rights, conservation easements, habitat improvement, working with federal agences, agricultural issues, estate planning, etc. - thereby providing today's ranch client with the wide array of expertise one needs in the arena.
