Costilla Irrigated Farm and Ranch is located in Southern Colorado, in the San Luis Valley. Situated on 5-miles of the Rio Grande River outside of Blanca, Colorado, the farm is 20-miles southeast of Alamosa, 235 miles south of Denver, and 89 miles north of Taos New Mexico. Alamosa has a population of +/- 9000 and has a hospital, multiple hotels, restaurants and shopping. Air service is provided by a regional airport with 3-runways over 7500 feet and daily flights on Great Lakes Airlines.
